Lake Walk Town Center | Outdoor Wedding Styled Shoot | Bryan, TX

When I first moved to College Station, the thing that most tickled me about this town was the fact that Bryan and College Station are essentially one little city. There is no dividing field between one town and the next. One second you’re driving down Texas in College Station and the next you’re still on Texas, but in Bryan!

Lake Walk Town Center is one of the most beautiful and serene spots located somewhere in between Bryan and College Station, to the east-ish of the city (our town is literally set up on a diagonal).

Last Summer while thumbing through local BABV venues, I realized that Lake Walk Town Center/The Stella Hotel was a member! This gave me the idea to design a mock photoshoot on the water. My inspiration was the sunset and I wanted my design to reflect it.

We created a small ceremony spot as well as a reception space. Although this was designed for a “wedding”, Lake Walk would make a great spot for a birthday, anniversary, or celebration of any kind! 

The covered pavilion can be used for concerts, parties, picnics, dinners, and much more! Although originally I was going to make this where our guest tables would go, we opted to convert this empty space into a “ceremony” spot.

Our acrylic of our ghost chairs reflecting off of the fountains and the water make such a beautiful background. Although we set up for roughly 40, the area is large enough to accommodate at least 100.

To add a little texture, we alternated rows of ghost chairs with our harvest benches. The benches are great for not only ceremony seating, but also to sit at our Harvest or Vineyard farm tables

Our clear lucite pedestals framed the ceremony space and were topped with beautiful arrangements from Tamara Menges Designs. Can you say FLOATING centerpieces?! Tamra has a beautiful eye for colors, check out her Instagram pages for more inspiration!

We carried over the wood and the acrylic from the ceremony space to the reception area. Our wood vineyard tables combined with the acrylic in the ghost chairs made the most beautiful lakeside setting.

To layer another texture on to the table, we opted to go with velvet napkins in a variety of colors. We switched shades of velvet napkins at every setting in an ombre effect of the beautiful sunset. 

These orizzonte chargers are my personal favorite in our sister store, Premiere Select’s, charger collection. The foiled gold makes a starburst into the center (or sunburst for the purposes of this look!). Set on top of that were orange fiestaware plates. Fiestaware is so underrated! It comes in a variety of colors… purples, yellows, greens… it doesn’t have to be used for a “fiesta” themed party. It can add a pop of color to any table setting.

The gold flatware we chose was our American Sentry flatware. As opposed to our Capri Gold flatware, American Sentry is a shiny more yellow gold. To accentuate the gold we pulled glassware from our Charlotte line. The gold rim glasses add just enough design elements. 

The last space we did was at the end of the dock. We created a little cocktail area and used our majestic burnt orange linens. It’s not very often we use orange here in Aggieland, but man did the sunshine make these linens stand out! The saturation of colors was so beautiful. We paired the cocktail tables with the square back ghost chairs from Premiere Select and WOW! 

Lake Walk is definitely a beautiful spot that I would love to shoot at again. Shoutout to a great team that made this possible!

Fannin Oaks Open House (Party Time Rentals + Green Teams)

On Sunday March 8th we were asked to participate in an Open House at the newly renovated Fannin Oaks wedding and event venue in Madisonville, Texas. From the Party Time Rentals Showroom in South College Station, it is about a 40 minute drive.

Fannin Oaks has recently been remodeled and is such a beautiful blank space. When you walk in, you immediately take note of how giant the room is. This is definitely a venue that can accommodate a “small town wedding”… which ironically and quite literally means a giant wedding where you invite the entire town. 

The room is lined in windows that look out over the Texas Hill Country. The walls are stark white with accents of stained wood to frame the windows and the ceiling beams. A beautiful black chandelier is perched in the center of the room.

Along with Green Teams, we were asked to be the featured rental and floral companies for the mock head table. My favorite thing about Open Houses is that they allow us the opportunity to explore different designs. For this particular event we went with a modern-whimsical-boho look. Mixing textures is my favorite… and quite frankly I would consider it my specialty! I love stepping out of the box and trying new things.

The first thing you will notice about the table is the gorgeous statement floral arrangement by Suzy Ghallager at Green Teams. Suzy is always excited to try new designs and anytime I send her a mood board of a crazy idea she never turns me down! This tall black floral stand brought out the black in the black capri flatware. The arrangement appears to be “floating” by being held up between two boards and LOADED with fun flowers and pampas grass. The goal was to add height to the head table as well as breaking up the GORGEOUS white shiplap wall that greets you immediately when you walk into the venue.

For the tabletop- our gorgeous rose velvet was a showstopper. Party Time’s velvet linens are everyone’s favorite and we frequently get complimented on the quality of them… they are very heavy too! When setting the tables you have to be careful to make sure the grain of the velvet is facing the same direction on each linen or else it will look like two different tablecloths!

For plates I really wanted to layer fun glass designs to mirror in the twists and turns of our sister store, Premiere Select’s, reef acrylic chair. This chair is a fun alternative to the standard round back ghost clear acrylic chair if you’re wanting a modern and unique place to sit. I’ve never paired a clear glass charger with a clear glass plate. Pictured here is our oasis glass charger and ocean breeze I wanted to challenge myself to step out of my comfort zone! Our clear glass carousel goblet went perfectly with the charger and dinner plate. Our carousel goblets are a current 2020 take on a cut crystal glassware. For the salad plate we paired our Tara plate which has a floral border and a small golden ring. The flowers on our Tara plate incorporate almost all colors so it can go with whatever color palette you choose! To add a pop and bring a wow factor, we pulled the bright turquoise out into our hemstitch napkin. Paired with our black capri– this setting was a hit!

I also had the opportunity to meet with lots of prospective couples and mingle with other fellow members in the Bridal Association. Broadway Bridal (sparklers & fireworks), Buppy’s Catering, and San Angel Photography to name a few!

Online Event Rentals: How-To Make A Wishlist

Did you know that you can plan your entire wedding or event start to finish online at without ever stepping foot in our showroom? We know that your schedules are busy, and sometimes you may be planning from out of town or even out of the country!

A unique feature that sets Party Time Rentals apart from other companies is our “wishlist” feature. This enables you to put together everything that you are interested in, which then gets forwarded to one of our event consultants to be made into a formal quote. Here’s a step by step process on how to make a wish list:

  1. Go to the individual page of the rental item that you are interested in. 
  2. From there hit the drop down menu (to the right of the image) and select the size or you are looking for.
  3. Use the (+) or (-) sign to enter the desired quantity to update your cart! 

Take note that some of our items are packages and crated in certain counts. The crate number will be listed in parenthesis next to the item in the drop down list.

  1. Click “Add to Wish List”
  2. Add all the remaining items you are interested in
  3. When you are finished click “wishlist” in the upper right hand corner of the screen
  4. Review and edit the list as you see fit
  5. Fill out all forms

In the additional info section be sure to note if rentals are needing to be delivered. If so, list any restrictions on when they need to be in and out of the facility.

Your event consultant will then receive your wishlist, review availability, and create a formal quote which will then factor in taxes, delivery (if applicable), and damage waiver.

At that point you will then be emailed over a copy of your quote and have the opportunity to review or modify it in any way. If you are interested to see some of your rentals paired together (the linen you have selected with the plates you are wanting), your event consultant will be able to take pictures and send them over to you. 

To reserve you can call and provide a 50% deposit via credit card over the phone, or we can email you a credit card authorization form for you to fill out and send back. As always, you’re welcome to come in and pay cash or with a check as well.

Bridal Show Wrap Up + Waffles & Wedding Rentals

This season we wanted to show off our logo with our new tagline “Wedding and Event Experts” To achieve this we wanted to really bring out the blues with our various rental items. We created this by using multiple plates, napkins, and glassware that we rent. Personally, my favorite items shown were our Marine Velvet napkins and our Carousel Blue Vintage Goblet. Overall the booth this spring had a very strong airy and whimsical feel. This was accomplished with the use of the white draping and the 10×20 tent frame with no top, wrapped with greenery. The addition of the wrapped ribbon drawn across the middle over the bar was a huge eye catcher with the floral hanging down. This was all materialized through the help of Green Teams who provided the greenery and the hanging florals, as well as the work of putting it all together. All of us at Party Time were extremely pleased with how beautiful our booth turned out and enjoyed all the positive feedback from other vendors and guests.

Of course we love getting to design our booth, but I think the best part about this season’s bridal show is our special we are offering:

This special is happening for those making a new reservation for their linens throughout the month of March. The discounts correspond to our three different linen groups on our website. This can be added to your order in store or even over the phone. Important things to note about this special is that to qualify one must pay in full, agree to the no cancellation policy, no decrease, and additions after March will not be considered under the special.

The Brazos Valley Bridal Show is upon us! 

This year the Spring Bridal Show is this Sunday, March 1, 2020 at the Brazos Valley Expo Center in Bryan, Texas… just outside of College Station.

Vendors from all over the county will have booths showing off their businesses… cakes, DJ’s, fireworks, venues… you name it! And of course, yours truly, Party Time Rentals, will be the first booth you see when you walk in! Any guesses on what our booth may look like? Hint… it may be debuting our new logo featuring our new tagline! Party Time Rentals – Wedding & Event Experts!

Tent Tent Hooray

Here at Party Time Rentals we have a variety of tent styles to choose from. Our two most popular tent styles are our Structured and Festival Tents.

The Structured Tent is designed for any type of event due to their durable and sleek design. This is simply because, the tent top slides through the aluminum framing to ensure a tight fit. Additionally, these tents can handle more weight, allowing for the option to hang accessories such as lights, lights, audio/video equipment, and decor elements. 

The Festival Tent pulls your focus up with its high, swooping peaks and tight white fabric. The most unique feature of this tent is that the center polls are suspended in the air with cables, allowing for there to be no center pole. These tents are popularly used for parties, concerts, and corporate activities. 

In terms of tent sizes, we have tents as small as 20’x20’ and as large as 60’x120’. To keep it somewhat simple for your reference, our base widths 20’, 30’, 40’, and 60’ and our lengths go up roughly in increments of 10’ or 20’. The capacity of your tent determines solely on the desired usage. For example our 30’x60’ tent sits 180 people “sit down dinner style.” However, if you wanted to add an appropriate sized dance floor, four cocktail tables, and a DJ area, you would need to get a 40’x80’ tent. Which for your reference, sits 320 people “sit down dinner style.”

Beat the Texas Heat this summer with the help of Party Time Rentals!

With temperatures reaching into the mid 90’s staying cool is a high priority. Here at Party Time Rentals, we have an array of items that can make any event so much cooler!

One of our more popular rentals during this sunny season is our Sno Cone Machine. Our Basic Sno Cone Kit comes with the machine, operating instructions, and an ice scoop. To complement this rental item, we sell Sno Cone cups, syrup pumps and just about any Sno Cone flavor you can think of– from sour apple to wedding cake, we have it all!

If our Sno Cone Machine is not keeping you cool enough, you might want to consider renting one of our cooling fans. Our most popular fan during this sunny season is our Way Cool Fan. This fan is a 2-speed quiet blower that is able to move air up to 100 ft. All you need to successfully operate this item is an outlet and a water source! Who knew staying cool could be this simple?!

In addition to all of our rentals that will keep you cool, we have linens ranging from peachy oranges, to blue sky blues that will assist you in looking cool. Whether you are having a Backyard Barbeque or a Summer Soiree, we have the perfect linen for you! All of our linens are displayed on our website as well as on our showroom floor.
All in all, staying cool and beating the heat is not an easy challenge here in Texas. However with the help of Party Time Rentals, we hope to help you keep your summer days cool and eventful!

What size linens do I need?

Coming up with your event design can feel a bit overwhelming. When it comes to linens, there are so many fabrics, patters, textures, and colors… then just when you think you have it all nailed down you realize that now you need to figure out what sizes you need! We’ve come up with a little cheat sheet to make the event planning process a little easier.

Guest tables typically come in the following standard sizes:

-48″ round (floor length= 108″)

-60″ round (floor length=120″)

-72″ round (floor length= 132″)

-6’x30″ (floor length= 90×132)

-8’x30″ (floor length = 90×156)

If Party Time Rentals does not carry the linen you want, you can always go up a size. The linen will just puddle a little bit on the floor. You can also go down a size and the linen will pull up off the floor a few inches.

I Do, to Color Too!

It’s no secret that I love color.

When a bride comes in to Party Time to pick out wedding rentals, one of my favorite questions to ask is “What are your colors?”. Sometimes not only will she tell me an accent color, but she will describe an expansive palette of playful hues. This is what I live for.

Did you know that linens are one of the easiest and most cost-effective ways to add color into your venue? You are able to blanket entire tables in beautiful shades of anything and everything. Drape ceilings and walls in an array of fabrics and warmth. Gone are the days to expect an all-white reception. 2019 will be the year to be bold and unique! Within your table settings, you can cover every inch of it in something different.

Another question I often get asked by brides is “Do people typically mix linen colors?” My answer is- Why not?

Do you want all of your guest tables to have sage linens and salmon napkins? Or do you want to alternate sage and salmon linens with all ivory napkins? It’s up to you, and whatever you choose it will turn out beautiful.

At Party Time Rentals in College Station, we have an entire wall devoted to color coded linen sections. Chances are, if we don’t have it, we may be able to order it for you!
